Collaborative Student MLK Project

This painting was a collaborative project for the first and second year docent teams of Alison Scholes, M.D. They discussed art and the importance of composition while they worked. Dr. Scholes plotted out the color blocks in advance and asked each student to look up their favorite Martin Luther King Jr. quote and include it on their tile. The students did not know what they were making until they were all finished and the team put it together.
